The Vehicle Import Transport Agency (ATIV) is a land transport agency for vehicles imported from the port of Dar Es Salaam in Tanzania to Burundi, Zambia, Rwanda, Uganda, and the DRC, particularly Lubumbashi, South Kivu, and North Kivu.

ATIV was registered with the Burundi Development Agency (ADB) on February 2, 2022, under number 35411/22. It will be authorized by the Ministry of Trade, Transport, Industry, and Tourism on July 25, 2023, under reference number 750/2774/CAB/2023.
This agency was created to address several challenges in this sector. These were materialized by customer complaints that certain parts were stolen, including radios, exhaust lungs, and others. This resulted in the vehicle arriving at the customer's premises in a condition different from that in which it was purchased, which frustrated customers.

The Vehicle Import Transport Agency (ATIV) has a vehicle transport truck and drivers with proven experience in transporting imported vehicles.
